I actually do try to put a lot of thought and heart into my writing, so it seemed like a waste to let all my stories just rot away on my computer, never to be read by anyone. I'm a bit too self-conscious about how personal the themes are, so I'll probably never tell anyone I know that this is my account. Like a lot of fanfic authors (I assume), I use self-insert characters to work out my own issues. That sort of therapy is scary to lay bare before critical readers, but I hope that the overall stories make up for it.
