Hi, if you feel that my stories are not for you, please feel free not to read them. I’ve seen comments from readers who are disappointed because my story is categorized under LGBTQ+, yet the lead character is supposedly a “man.”
I’m not sure if everyone understands that some soft mascs, hard mascs, and transmen individuals prefer to take the lead in a relationship and may think or feel like a man. I identify as a soft masc, and I often feel masculine. I also don’t mind whether people address me as “sir” or “ma’am.”
If you think that my stories are about an opposite-sex relationship, then I don’t think you’ve read the entire story or fully understand how some mascs think and behave in relationships. My lead characters are intersex, and I chose to portray them as trans men or masculine-presenting individuals because I can relate to them. This also makes it easier for me to write their characters authentically.
