Since starting their first novel in March of 2018, Long and Rimmer have finished seven unpublished books, focusing on including LGBTQ+and ethnically diverse characters as the main protagonists. In these books, they draw from their own life experiences and use the characters and plot as a way to discuss difficult topics, such as mental health and trauma.
