It's been around forty years before I finally said to myself, "Enough is enough!"

The stories and characters that kept percolating in my mind reached a critical mass. I knew that it was time to put ink on paper, even if said ink and paper were mostly of a digital variety.

As I was typing away, looking at the ocean in front of me, a world began to take shape. The ocean patiently looked back at me. "Can I finally read this thing?" it asked.

"Sure."

I threw the first copy into the water. Let the great Atlantic decide if there's something to it.

That night there was a storm. The wind battered the palm trees, the windows trembled and there was lightning that was probably seen from space.

I mistakenly took it as a sign I should publish.
