I feel the emotion in these pieces.  High school has always been  cruel but it does seem that society is becoming more shallow.  But you can put an upside to these poems as well by adding a section where you really do get the guy or you turn out to be better than your "friends" at doing something.  Even if it's only a fantasy that shouldn't stop you writing it and one day it might turn out to be true.

Please help me improve on my writing,
