LoveandEdify

Hello everyone, LoveandEdify here.

Still dealing with life stuff and I'm actually working on the climax of the latest chapter.

But I'm actually posting because I have a question.

So, even though this is an English story, there WILL be some scenes where characters speak in Japanese or other native languages.

My question is, what should the format be?

          	Option 1: "Konichiwa/Hello"

          	or...

          	Option 2: "Konichiwa"

Option 1 says what the people are saying, but leaves a translation for the reader.

Option 2 just says the word, and intrigues the reader to dig deep to find out the meaning, heart, context, etc...

          	Which do you prefer?

FireFistFan3

@LoveandEdify
Option 1 feels more appropriate, plus what seems like common knowledge for us weebs may not be the case for everyone, I do suggest putting the translation in brackets instead.

          	  :)

Hey everyone. Sorry for not saying or updating anyone for a while.

In all honesty, I had to step back and realize... I put a TON of effort into this story, I'm not giving up and I love every single one of you.

Unfortunately, I also put a lot of pressure on myself.

I wanted to update consistently, but I focused on wanting to be famous and relevant over putting out a good product.

Instead of taking my time to finish the whole product then releasing it week by week (which, I think I did for the first 5 chapters of Season 2), I just released what I could and set deadlines thinking that's how everyone did it.

Then I saw a YouTube short mentioning how Game Of Dragon (a video game series) apparently didn't finish their game before release and just crashed and burned (Thanks ClassicMan D).

          My apologies everyone.

          Steel Resolved isn't cancelled.

I'm just gonna focus on making a great series bit by bit first and finishing what I've already committed to, and then build everything and release it on MY time when I know I'm ready.

Anyway, Keep Loving, Keep Edifying and KEEEEEEEEP LoveandEdifying.

Thanks so much.

Unfortunately I’m not gonna have as much time to sit down with this approach because I already have the next couple chapters laid out.

If I completely shift mentalities before then, it’ll throw my mind off a bit. You know?

Hey everyone, LoveandEdify here.

So, I’ve been hit with a ton to adjust to.

I’m trying to create a small business that helps me earn money, I’ve had some small jobs pop up, and I’ve put a lot of pressure on myself just to keep up.

In short, my work-life balance is wrecked.

I want to make you all happy, but I can’t. Not if I keep chasing success so hard that I keep burning out.

So, with that being said, the final two Steel Resolve: Season 2–Striking Resolve episodes will release every other week instead of every week (meaning no chapter this Saturday.)

Also, while Steel Resolve: Season 3 WILL happen, I won’t promise a release date for it.

I’ll work on writing it first, shaping it to my vision and precision, then schedule the chapters to release weekly on MY time.

I’ll still let you know when things are coming out, still be promoting.

Just saving myself in the process.

Anyway, I know this is long.

          These aren’t excuses.

          But thank you for understanding.

Keep Loving, Keep Edifying, Keep LoveandEdifying.

Special thanks to all 10 of you for following me and enjoying the Steel Resolve Series.

I really enjoy making this fan series.

Heads-up, due to Easter weekend, there will be no Steel Resolve chapter this weekend.

But we are 2 chapters away from Season 2: Striking Resolve wrapping up.

I got a question for you all.

Would you rather I update the original Steel Resolve from 2022 to better fit the current story, or start work on Season 3?

Either way, both need to be done soon.

I just need to know which to work on during my off-season.

Either way, thank you all so very much.

Keep Loving, Keep Edifying, Keep LoveandEdify.

          And as always…Forge Your Path

Hey everyone, LoveandEdify here…

          Saturday, 11:30 AM Pacific.

With Sam Ryder still not here yet, Ryukyu’s in a dark, depressing place after challenges with her new form nearly cause destruction on the island.

While the island itself was unharmed, thanks to some quick thinking, Ryukyu’s now feeling ashamed and unworthy of everyone.

          Particularly, her sidekick, Nejire Hado.

          Nejire? Do your best.

The Ryukyu Island Arc is reaching its crescendo.

          3 more chapters.

          How will this arc end?

What does this mean for Ryukyu and Nejire?

And just as important, when Sam does arrive, what does he get himself into?
