THE LYSENA CHRONICLES

I write speculative fiction set on Lysena, a matriarchal planet governed by female-controlled social, legal, and cultural systems. Together, these stories form The Lysena Chronicles, an ongoing shared-world project that explores what it feels like to live inside a matriarchal society that is neither a utopia nor a dystopia, but a functioning world with strengths and weaknesses, benefits and costs, and systems that produce both beneficial and harmful consequences. It is a society where stability, care, and intimacy coexist alongside control, vulnerability, social pressure, and exploitation.

Under a Matra Sky is one story within this larger universe. Each book stands on its own, but all take place on Lysena and explore its social and cultural systems.
