            And if you've fallen in love with Lysena, there's good news: Under a Matra Sky is only one story set in this world. I'm working on several other books and stories for The Lysena Chronicles, with new characters and different parts of Lysenian society to explore. I'm also developing Lysena X, a more adult and explicit collection of stories set in the same universe.

The part of your comment that really got me was “I have been looking for something like this for so long,” because that’s honestly a big part of why I started writing Under a Matra Sky. I wanted to read good stories set in a genuinely female-led society, and I had a surprisingly hard time finding the kind of stories I was looking for. Eventually I decided to create one myself.
            
            So hearing that someone else had been looking for something like this too means more to me than you probably realized. And the good news is that UMS isn’t going to be the only story set on Lysena. I’m already working on other stories with different characters that explore other parts of this world.
            
            Also, the image of you screaming and throwing your phone at the good parts made me laugh.  Thank you for reading and for taking the time to leave this. You genuinely made my morning.

@X2x1x2X     That’s actually really helpful feedback because those scenes are some of my favorites to write too. The tension and chemistry between them is basically the heart of the story.
            
            If you enjoy the Kael and Sari interactions, I think you’ll probably like where the rest of the story goes.
            
            And honestly, one of the reasons I started building Lysena as a larger setting is because I realized I wanted to keep exploring different relationships and dynamics inside this world beyond just this one story.

@X2x1x2X I really love the scenes of ml and fl being together. Them doing that project together was the best scene so far. And I would really love if you could increase their number of interactions.

            Out of curiosity, what’s been your favorite part of the story so far? And is there anything you’d want more (or less) of as things keep unfolding?
            
            It’s always interesting seeing what different readers connect to.

Probably about 2/3 of the way through at this point.
            The story’s moving into some of the most important parts for the characters now.

            One of the things I wanted most with Under a Matra Sky was for Lysena to feel like a real society and not just some extreme dystopia or perfect utopia. Most matriarchal stories I’ve come across tend to go very far in one direction or the other, and I wanted Lysena to feel more grounded and lived-in than that.
            
            So I’m really glad the worldbuilding has been landing for you alongside the story itself.
            
            And honestly, hearing that it made your top 10 means a lot!

            And honestly, that’s good advice. Posting consistently for months while writing the story at the same time can definitely become a lot sometimes.  Lucky for me it has been a labor of love.

            I have several more chapters of Under a Matra Sky written and will be posting them over the next few weeks, and I am continuing to work on it. I’m also working on another, shorter story that also takes place on Lysena and involves a displaced young man who has to learn how to navigate life in a strictly matriarchal society.
