Thanks guys - keep spreading the word :) For me (and many others) it was where I found most works that interested me due to other people commenting, voting, and adding to their reading lists. Definitely miss it both as a reader and a writer... and I now spend about 2 mins a day on WP compared to the mindless scrolling and clicking I used to do through the news feed!
@Lucille_Dixon signed! @fallynsinclair and I were just talking about this. Wattpad is becoming a platform for popular writers to promote their work and/or make money, which is great! But not so great for people with little to no following and no way to promote their work.
Back on WP after a few months away and WOAH everything changed! No news feed and... NO FORUMS?! My reader counts/rankings have definitely taken a knock with no promotion or new readers from the forums. Look forward to seeing what - if any - replacement for self-publicising our work WP will offer in future. Hope all of you are doing well and staying safe in these crazy times. Lots of love, Lucille x

One year ago today, the day before my birthday, I hit the 'mark story complete' button on my first book "All". In just 12 short months, you amazing people have given my little story nearly 200k reads and, to my own amazement, it now has a completed sequel with nearly 30k reads! Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to every person who's taken the time to read Abi & Noah's story, it's been an amazing year and here's to the next! ❤️
