@PinkDragon- Ahh thank you so much for reading! I was sobbing writing the ending, so I'm happy that it came through Tbh, I mostly used Merlin fanfiction from ao3 as inspiration (if you're interested, a dark one that made me sob but was so good was When It Burns by Bellobelle, but really any of the merlin fics on ao3 are stellar). As for books, I was really inspired by Babel by R.F. Kuang (not much romance, but the plot and ending had me screaming) and The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey (where I got inspiration for the Ala and Roche's love of words)! As for Wattpad stories, don't really read much on here apart from fanfiction, but some fantasy stories I've got in my library are Luminous by @jeidafel , The Faintest Ink by @VVSoup , The Star and the Ocean by @star-powered (which is also WLW is you're looking for that :D ) Hopefully that should ease the pain a little bit Thank you again for reading, I'm so glad you enjoyed :D

@PTV_Sirenz Ohh that's because of the section divider titled "Part 2" after Chapter 30. Unfortunately there wasn't a way to put it in without messing up the chapter count The actual number of chapters rn is the one less than the chapter count
It’s all good, I was just confused cuz the chapter count said 146 but there was no chapter 146 lmfao

It’s okay… todays had ups and downs in my world of reading. Just found out that this one story I LOVE hasn’t been updated since February and the latest chapter ends on a cliffhanger…. But another story I love updated. It’s a roller coaster of emotions
All the chapters have been edited to fix the missing page breaks. I'm so sorry that you all had to read the story without them LOL.
