I could use some input! I'm debating a new cover for Arrow to the Heart. Could you all check it out and let me know what you think? Here's the link: https://www.wattpad.com/1481455565-arrow-to-the-heart-a-cupid-romance-new-cover

@LuxRaven I haven't read it so the butterfly might have some actual symbolic meaning and if it does, then I would go with the second one as the colors to me are much more striking. But it really depends on whether the arrow or the butterfly is more symbolic in the story and which you want to hammer home more to the audience.

@LuxRaven Still making my way through Siren's Fall but I gave my two cents! Arrow to the Heart is such a fun premise. Congrats on another novel completed <3

You have been recommended to me. Could you tell me what genre your books fall under?

I'm seeing so many different tags, I'm not sure where in the genre soup you would like them listed. I have GL, BL, Paranormal, Fantasy, Romance, Thriller-- I'm just at a loss as where to put you. I can cross reference you across two/three of them, but I need a starting point. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Lol no worries, I write a range of stuff so it’s hard to categorize sometimes. All my books on here are Romance. All of them are Paranormal Romance except Meet Me Backstage, which is just regular Romance. All the books feature M-F pairings but some of those characters are bisexual or pansexual. (The love interest in Demon King of Lust is genderfluid & gender nonconforming but typically identifies as male, so some of the confusion is probably because of him.) Hope that helps! ❤️

I just wanted to say how much I love your books! They're so immersive and captivating that I feel like I'm right there in the story. I'm completely hooked and can't wait to read more of your work.

I was wondering if you'd ever think about writing a book about Morgan? , He's such a cool character, and I think it would be awesome to see what happens to him. I really hope he gets a happy ending!

Please keep writing! Your talent is truly magnificent, and I can't wait to see what you create next.

Aww thank you ❤️ That’s so sweet of you to say! I really appreciate the kind words!

You know, it’s funny that you ask that right now because the book I am currently working on just maaayyy be Morgan’s book ;-) I’m aiming to start posting in early December *fingers crossed* I’ll be posting more updates on that so stay tuned

Yeah, getting reads is very much a difficult, long-term process. For me, I wrote most of my first book offline before posting the first chapter. It helped me not get hung up on using reads or feedback as writing motivation. But it also made it easier to post on a consistent schedule, which is helpful for the algorithm. I didn’t expect to get many reads, and I hardly had any until I finished the book and marked it as complete. (In general, readers want complete books, especially from new authors.)

My best advice is to (1) keep your writing process offline until you’re ready to post, (2) post on a consistent schedule, (3) be very patient and don’t expect any reads while a book is still ongoing, and (4) make sure your cover, tags, and description are very strong.

I actually wrote a blog post about this topic too if you’re interested: https://www.luxravenwrites.com/post/how-to-get-readers-on-wattpad-getting-more-reads

            Hope that helps!
