carlos smiled softly and took a deep breath , inhale then exhale . he could do this , he's made it this far . all he had to do were say those words , he was quick to notice elena's beautiful glow and those flickering lights . oh god - not the butterflies in his stomach ! he tried his absolute best to look her in the eye and stay calm , but it was all oh - so difficult . his heart raced in his chest and his cheeks flushed a deep red as he tried to find his words and luckily finally found his voice "you know how cotillion is coming up?" he asked curiously and ran a hand through his white hair .
