M.J.V. Matlovich grew up in the small town of Port Lambton, Ontario, where his passion for writing stemmed at a young age. He started with short stories and a few attempts at novels, before pursuing professional development at Western University. While at university he developed an interest in film and turned that into a career in the film industry in Toronto. After several years of working on screenplays, he has shifted his focus back to novels and short stories, writing in the science fiction and thriller genres. When he's not writing, he's enjoying time with his wife and daughter.
