Have you ever glanced around with you minds eye and seen something simply too marvelous for the real world. That right there is what I live and write for. Those favorite fleeting moments of mine. The beautifully fantastic, the sickeningly surreal, and the utterly otherworldly. 
The works of people like Terry Pratchett, Jim Butcher and Hayao Miyazaki have given me a love of characters and character development. Poe, Lovecraft and Del Toro have developed my taste for the dark and twisted, and my practice as a student of game design has grounded my passion for world building. Given this, most of my stories often focus on the smaller stories of individual characters set against a backdrop of far larger worlds.
