I had this funny idea of a couple of characters in your story, a grandpa and his grand son who are tank mechanics who service and repair tanks for the schools and universities, it turns out the grandpa knows about the problems and troubles of the other two great Sensha-do families.
          	Kenji and crew need new parts for their tanks for the upcoming match with Kuromorimine so they head to the grandpa and gand son work shop for these part

When Kenji told the list of parts need grandpa asked what's the reason for so many parts and when Kenji mentioned their match against Kuromorimine by using Minori's family name grandpa froze hearing the name, he asks Kenji his connection to the family and was shocked by the response and the death of last child of the family

I hope Kenji can move pass Minori's death and move forward with his friends, I imagine part of it is Kenji facing Minori's grandmother Oda and bot holding back against the one who drove Minori & her mother away.
          
          I can imagine Oda yelling and screaming at Kenji and his crew while Kenji keeps calm as he sips his tea till Oda says something terrible about Minori causing Kenji to snap and crush his cup, then Kenji doesn't hold back yelling and wreaking Oda with a brutal word salad that leaves everyone gob smacked.

Whenever I watch movies, TV shows, animes or read I tend to come up with my own characters half baked sometimes, same when I read The Missing Heir, if you look at Kokina Tenshi6991's conversation section you'll see a lot of the character ideas I've come up with.
          
          I said to him that I make characters and ideas so I suggested to him what I've made if he would like to add them to his story or use it as inspiration for any new works he'll make
