This former university English language instructor fell in love with Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms/Eternal Love of Dream and started studying Mandarin. Eventually I hope to re-write some stories in Chinese. My writing is for  myself and the DongFengers as well as the joy of the journey and I love words as much as healthy acceptance of feelings and learning about Chinese mythology which I will do my best to interpret through the lens of a white female American with privilege who is new to Chinese fantasy dramas. I am proudly neurodivergent (ADHD/dyscalculia) and former epileptic, a Montessori kid with some training in the method, and a certified parent coach and non-punitive parenting educator (gentle, positive, connected, crunchy, granola insert your favorite adjective) with two children who strives to be anti-racist and raise anti-racist children.
