Have you ever fallen into a dream? Down, and down, and down, and down? Could you feel the neurons and gray matter shift around your body as you watched the lightning dance? Did you hear the story you had to tell yourself? Did the lips of the Mynd whisper to its ear? Did you bear witness to a tale your own? A unique myth no other can ever experience?

Or did you keep falling down, and down, and down, and down?

Hidy-ho, humanoids! Just appearing from the fog (using the mobile app for once because why the French not?) to inform you that I suck at publishing new chapters in a reasonable time. So, if I don't have Christmas chapters of EVERY book in the Immobile Observat collection released by Christmas morning, I will hereby sentence myself to writing a Sonic x Shadow one-shot. It's my least favorite Sonic ship (not because it's gay, I live for that stuff, and if you have issues with that, respectfully go back to eating sand out of the bottom of your local swimming pool), but I will put myself through it as penance for my potential failures.

I just finished the first chapter of The Dies Irae Club, and I just wanna say, I really appreciate seeing someone who's writing unique stories that aren't generic romance stories about some werewolf. I can see that you aren't trying to be anything but yourself, and on Wattpad, that's really rare.

Why do I bother? Dreams are as much fiction as the stories I write. And yet I cling to both like a child clings to their stuffed toys. They serve no greater purpose, and nobody else cares for them. Thus, they must be worthless. But even the worthless have worth to someone. Even if that someone is only me, that's still someone who cares to see the end. Cares to see the dream become real. Cares to let the stories live.

What do you guys think of me taking after Liam Vickers and using the same characters for vastly different stories? I'm already using Samantha Lawrence (as seen here in "Penton Creek") in other projects, such as "Simulacrum" and a few unannounced W.I.P.s. Just want your thoughts on it.

People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it, and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.
