Guys idk what to do for the mortal au rewrite, im considering making Will a new kid. Since it’s a boarding school au, this will mean that Will lives in Texas but goes to school in New York. If I do make him a new kid, him and Leo being childhood friends will make sense (them not recognising each other in freshman, sophomore or junior year made no sense) and we’ll get to see more of Will’s life in Texas+the rest of the solace family. However, if I do make Will new, that means his previous 3 years of friendship with Annabeth won’t have existed. Im not sure whether to write out the whole childhood friend thing because it didn’t really add anything anyway. What do yall think I should do?
