Hey, it's Marcus here! I'm a 20-year-old writer raised in Valley Stream, NY. Ever since I was young I've had interest in illustrating comics as well as writing full length stories. It wasn't until last year, however, that I decided to start writing my first story, titled which made me really take writing more seriously. At first, I had written five pages until I lost interest in that story and moved on to write what is now known as "Youth". I took heavy inspiration from real life events that included elements of tragedy, anxiety and depression, love, and identity. I'm currently resuming work on that first story and implement my real life experiences into my writing. Anime and video games are also included in my influences for writing, and the anime "Flcl" stuck with me in particular. In my free time I like working out, listening to music/going to concerts, travelling when I can, and riding my motorcycle. Hopefully you can find something to relate to with my writing!! :)
