Hey Wattpad friends! 
          Quick update for you all! ✨
          When It Hurts to Be Perfect is now COMPLETE!  It’s fully reworked to fit into the Hurt Series. 
          Josh and Maya’s story is finished and I’m so emotional about it. The golden child finally found his person. 
          Unfortunately, my sabbatical has come to an end.  Real life is calling and I need to concentrate on work for a while. Adulting is the worst, I know. 
          But I’m not disappearing! ❌
          I have ideas for a new story already.   
          In the meantime — if you have any requests for bonus chapters, send them my way!  I have a few ideas already but I want to hear what YOU want to see.

I just finished it!! It was great! The only issues were a spot or two where you moved the chapters around and missed the timeline edits.  I loved the tension and the pain. It didn't feel rushed. It made sense, nothing that would be unrealistic. I loved it! 

Maya and Josh’s story now has a few chapters live. I think I mentioned this story actually partially existed before I even started The Hurt Series. I had this manuscript sitting in my drafts about a surgical resident and a medical student. 
          
          I’ve been reworking it to fit into the current timeline- making him a Reid, giving him that family trauma we know and love (thanks Victor ), connecting it to Marcus and Harper’s timeline.
          
          Josh Reid- The perfect son. The surgeon with cold blue eyes and steady hands who’s never let anyone see him crack.
          Maya Chen- Medical student. Caretaker. Fighter. The girl who’s been holding everything together since she was twelve and doesn’t know how to let anyone help.
          He’s her supervisor. She’s his student. It’s forbidden, career-ending, neither of them can stop.
          Baltimore instead of Colorado.

I love your writing! I have yet to find anything to comment on. Except to say I love it and wish I had more time to read right now! How long have you been writing?

So while polishing Where It Hurts the Most and The Hurt Between Us,  I found two deleted scenes I originally wrote as flashbacks but ended up cutting from the main story.
          But I couldn't let them go. 
          These moments between Nate and Rowan were too important. 
          So I'm releasing them now as bonus content:
           Christmas 2018 — Nate's POV
          The first Christmas without Jake. The Hayes family falling apart. And Nate seeing just how far Rowan has spiraled.
           Christmas 2019 — Rowan's POV
          Rowan sneaks into Nate's childhood bedroom. Old photos. Stolen vodka. And a game she's not sure she wants to win.
          Consider these deleted scenes a little gift from me to you for Christmas
