Quick Announcement: I will be working on Marcus and Harper story from next month. Here a quick teaser :When It Hurts to Let Go
          	MARCUS
          	Marcus Reid doesn't do feelings.
He does parties. Football. Shots that burn and girls who don't stay.
Fuckboy extraordinaire. The guy your mother warned you about.
          	Never the same girl twice.
Never anything that could actually hurt.
          	Until her.
Harper Davies was supposed to be just another hookup.
One night. One mistake. One more girl he'd forget by Monday.
          	Except she felt like everything.
So he did what Marcus Reid does best.
          	He ran.
          	Now she's moved on.
Happy. Glowing. With someone who isn't him.
          	And Marcus?
          	He's totally fine.
          	...
          	Isn't he?

          	HARPER
          	Harper Davies is done. ✋
Done waiting. Done hoping. Done being the girl who thought she saw something real.
          	She gave him everything.
And he threw it away before the sheets were even cold.
          	Classic Marcus.
          	So she moved on.
Found someone safe. Someone who actually shows up.
          	She's happy now. She is.
So why does her heart still skip when he walks into a room?
          	Doesn't matter.
Marcus Reid already broke her once.
And Harper Davies doesn't give second chances.
          	...
          	Does she?

          You asked, I listened.
Two new bonus chapters have been added to Where It Hurts to Stay.

Some storms don’t pass until the truth comes out — and this time, it finally does.
No spoilers, just heart, honesty, and a little chaos.

Thank you for loving Wren and Leo the way you do.

@MahiGupta433 thank you! Absolutely will do! Dean does have another reason to be overprotective( if you read the epilogue for Wren and Leo yet) which continues in the next book too. However I have some additional ideas now and sure it can be either be more bonus chapters or build in future content to fit the overprotective brother theme ❤️

“Where It Hurts to Stay” — now complete

This story was one of the hardest for me to balance — not because of the romance itself, but because of what it represents. Wren and Leo’s story deals with blurred lines, mistakes, and the long road toward healing and self-forgiveness. I tried to tell it honestly, without sensationalizing anything, but still giving them the ending they both deserved.

It wasn’t an easy one to write — and I’d actually love to hear your thoughts. Do you feel their story should’ve ended any differently? Would you have handled certain moments another way? I’m genuinely curious, because this book taught me a lot about empathy and restraint as a writer.

And while I wasn’t planning to write another book in The Hurt Series originally, something unexpected happened while writing this one — Zadie and Woody started to take shape in the background. Their banter, their tension, that undercurrent you might’ve noticed in Wren’s chapters… it grew into something I couldn’t ignore.

          So — surprise:
✨ Up next: “When It Hurts to Fall.” ✨ She’s the chaos queen with a soft heart and a sharp tongue.
He’s the steady one — until she shatters his calm.
It’s friendship, denial, jealousy, and bad timing — the kind of slow burn that wrecks you before it saves you.

Zadie might break Woody’s heart first.
But this time, she might just break her own too.

          Thank you for reading.

Author Update | The Hurt Series – Wren & Leo’s Story

          Hey friends

I just wanted to give you a quick update on where things are with Wren & Leo’s book (Where It Hurts to Stay).

This one is taken me longer than planned — and honestly, it deserves to.
It’s the most complex and emotionally demanding story I’ve written so far.
The teacher–student dynamic, it’s all heavier than anything in the series before, and I want to make sure I handle it with the care and honesty it needs.

So yes, the book will be a little longer than expected (because Wren and Leo apparently refuse to shut up ), but I promise the extra pages are worth it.
Every scene is there for a reason. Every pause, every silence, every look — all of it matters.

Thank you for your patience. You’ve been here through Rowan & Nate, Cassie & Dean, Avery & Roman — and now we’re finally giving Wren and Leo the ending they deserve.

Thank you for trusting me with them.

@MahiGupta433 I was able to post the bonus chapters - one is wren the other Leo POV. There might be another coming at some point where Leo meets the rest of the other guys. But one step at a time!

✨ Hurting You, Loving You — is now LIVE! ✨

          Hi my beautiful readers

After a slightly chaotic delay (life threw me a few curveballs, as it does), Hurting You, Loving You — Avery and Roman’s story — is officially complete and up now!

Thank you so much for your patience, your comments, your DMs, and the love you’ve shown while waiting. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster — bratty step-sister, grumpy Harvard boy, law firms, glitter fights, and one very slow-burn kiss that changed everything. If you stuck around during the quiet weeks, just know: I see you. I appreciate you more than words.

This story is for anyone who’s ever fallen for the person they swore they’d never want. For anyone who knows that some hearts take time, and some love stories burn slow… but deep.

And now — we’re not quite done.

Next up is the final book in this world:
          Where It Hurts to Stay
Wren (who you first met in Cassie’s book) finally gets her story — sharp, defiant, and way too clever for her own good. And the man she should definitely stay away from? Her young, idealistic, off-limits teacher.

One last forbidden story. One final chance to fall hard.
          Coming soon

          With so much love,
Thank you for being here —❤️❤️❤️

 Quick Update
Yes, I know — this is a slow burn. The tension is simmering, the looks are loaded, and the lines are getting dangerously blurry…
          But don’t worry.
          Steamy scenes are coming
So if you’ve been patiently waiting for things to heat up between these two — trust me, it’s not going to stay innocent forever.
They’re circling the edge right now.
          And when it snaps?
          It’ll burn.
Stay tuned. Things will heat up

MarieMiria

Hey Friends

Sorry for the slow updates this week — it’s been a wild one on my end But don’t worry, more chapters of Hurting You, Loving You are coming this weekend! Things are finally heating up between Roman and Avery (about time, right?)

Thanks so much for your patience and for sticking with these two chaotic disasters. You won’t want to miss what’s next

sarahmill3333
