If a writer and a nature enthusiast had a kid, then added a dash of k-pop and coffee: that would be me. Just dust off the stray cat hair!
I've been writing for close to 10 years now, if you count my first writing attempt when I was nine!
Most of the reason I started writing was because I took the quote: "If you can't find the book you'd want to read, write it," to heart! Trying to find worthwhile reading material is hard to come by, even more so now that I've actually attempted writing a novel! (Knowing the secrets of the writing craft makes it hard to overlook things sometimes! Maybe that's why they say ignorance is bliss?)
I also like to discuss sometimes difficult topics that adults usually skim around in writing. I mean, as a teenage writer, who better to write about teenage problems? I want to open people's eyes to things that are not usually written about on a level that is understandable.
I think that good writing should make people feel something; whether it be the injustice of a situation, or the awe of learning something they hadn't!
Depending on the ages that read my writing, I would love to open the eyes of adults to real teenage life (not the forcefully written, stereotypical cardboard characters they see in movies). And, hopefully, educate them on how to treat teenagers like the humans that we are.
I want all of my work to have meanings, and moral lessons behind them. Which is one reason I have writer's block most of the time, I don't want to create something hollow.
Anyways, now that you know a little bit more about why I write, I hope that you will enjoy what comes from it!
With warm regards, and a big cup of coffee (or tea if you prefer). Welcome to my little world of writing! 📖✍🏼
