Ah, so sorry for the late reply!! I'm really lazy when it comes to checking my Wattpad account, sorrysorrysorry!!! Oh, uh, yes. Plots. Hm, well to be honest just for when I'm practicing writing, more often than not I let my plots be influenced by things going on around me (aka current events), published works I've read, music, art, etc. It doesn't have to influence the whole story - it may just kick you off and you'll be so inspired you'll just feel like writing the rest right out!!
What I think a lot of people forget to do is make a skeleton of the story. Before you start writing you want to know the beginning and the end - the two slices of bread. Then you can put in the filling and make yourself a lovely sandwich. But when you don't have that skeleton to guide you while you're writing the story then you'll easily become stuck in a rut and lose interest. I know you may hate the process of making a skeleton (I know I do) because you just want to get right into the thick of it, but try to hold back and you'll do great ;3
There's also this thing called the Snowflake Method which a lot of authors use and I myself have been trying to practice. Here's an overview of it; http://www.advancedfictionwriting.com/articles/snowflake-method/
I'm really happy I'm such a role model to you (I'm sure I don't deserve it, huehue ;w;). Hope this somewhat helps you on your adventures as an author~!
