After reading beyond the surface (brilliant writing btw) I just want to say thank you for informing me about Usher syndrome, I had never heard of it before and honestly after reading your authors note I feel as though more people ened to be informed of this myself included. So thank you for teaching those you have read your novels its really appreciated!!

Thank you , I am so glad you have been enjoying Beyond the Surface. Yes Usher Syndrome is a very underrepresented condition (deaf blindness) you would typically see either deafness or blindness represented in media not both which inspired the creation of Delilah Gilmore!

I love how you put that in there. I never find books with different illnesses or anything in them. I wish I could find one where someone has mild Tourette’s (just ticks/twitches not the blurting things out and worse stuff)
