I love this book, “Show, Don’t Tell: how to write vivid descriptions...” It’s a long name.
Chapter 12 The uses of telling—When telling is the better choice. #8 First Drafts. “As James Thurber once said: don’t get it right; just get it written.”

Hello all,

Just wanted to let you all know I pulled Beneath The Rubble, The Shadows down for editing and revising. I’ve still got a lot to learn as a writer but I’ve definitely improved since I started that story and I can see it needs a lot of work. Thanks for all the reads on it and I hope to make it much better after some serious hacking, revision and rewriting.

A sample of “Where Fate May Fall”, my newest book to be published is up if you’d like to check it out. It should be available on Amazon in both Kindle and paperback formats any day now. I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.

More great news! I’m getting another book published!

Only two and a half weeks after I found out “From Hero To Racer” was finally available on Amazon, I find out I'm getting a second book published by the same publisher, called "Where Fate May Fall." That's what I've been away from here working on. I did the cover and chapter art myself. I set up and had a modeling contest to pick who would be on the cover and in the chapter art. I did a photo shoot day in 100 degree weather (that sucked, but yes that's right I did the photography as well) and did a bunch of photo editing to prepare the artwork. All while still working full time, so you can see why I didn’t have time to be on here. The publisher liked “Where Fate May Fall” so much they gave it really high praise in an email to me, much higher praise than they gave me for "From Hero To Racer" and they are rushing to get it out. They said it should be available before the week is out. I'll let you know as soon as it's available.

Good news!
First I want to say sorry for being away for so long, I deal with constant pain every day since the car accident and with working full time I do not always have the energy for much else after taking care of my family’s needs at home. In about a month I’ll be getting my 19th surgical procedure on my back and will hopefully reduce a portion of my pain, which in turn I hope to get back on track with my writing. On an up note I just found out that From Hero to Racer is going to be published by Story Share into paperback and sold on Amazon. I’ll let you know when I find out more details. Love you all, and thanks for reading.

Well I had my neck surgery last Friday, it went well and I'm recovering, the first week was mostly spent sleeping and vegged out watching movies to doped up to do much else. So this week I'll be reading and giving tips for those who asked me to. Talk to you soon.

Yuppers, same hear. It's the way we handle these sorts of problems that makes us who we are. Some never fight hard enough to move on in-spite of the difficulties, others let it brake them and end up spiteful, "hating" the world and everyone in it because of the cards they were dealt. Way to go! Keep pushing on and improving yourself or learning new ways around the problems. :)

It's kinda a step by step process, started with Comics Camera, then PS Express (which is made by Adobe), PicsArt, and ended with PaintFx Pro (all of which I paid for pro versions and extras, totally worth the money for those 4). I used to own a photography business back when you did photo editing with camera setting and different chemical developing processes, over or under development of the negative, or laying more than one negative on top of one another. I LOVE editing. Much easier now with an iPhone, iPad, Bluetooth smart pen, Intuos graphics tablet and all the apps that go with them lol.
