I’m asking you all to hang in there with me. The story isn’t finished yet, but I finally had a moment to sit down and read everything together, and it’s clear some pieces need to be sharpened, deepened, or pulled forward. If chapter releases slow down for a bit, that’s why. I’ll be revisiting earlier chapters, adding the details the story deserves, and making sure the foundation is as strong as the ending I’m building toward.
I was finally able to get through the pain to slip some words onto the page. Time has been stingier than usual, though I was able to carve out a small stretch of quiet and make it mine. With a bit of luck, the weekend will give me back the hours I've been starving for, and I will get some much-needed writing done, and not much else.
Wishing peace, joy, and meaning to everyone observing a holiday today. Whether you're celebrating Easter, continuing your Passover traditions, or honoring this day in your own faith and way. May your home feel warm, you supported, and your traditions bring you comfort.

I hope life has been gentle with you all lately. I’m seeing the next orthopedic doctor tomorrow, and the chapters are still coming, just slower than I’d like.
In the meantime, if you have any book recommendations, I’d really like to hear them.
As fate would have it, the writing will slow. I’m under strict orders to keep my left hand out of the fight until an orthopedic specialist can take a closer look, tests point to a scaphoid fracture, some possible tearing, and for now, I’m benched.
I hope everyone enjoys the chapter that just released. And for those just beginning the journey, I hope the pages draw you in as deeply as they do me. Pulling you under, holding you close, and refusing to let go.

A quick update for readers of Echoes of the Forgotten World.
The story is currently available from the Prologue through Chapter 9, and new chapters will continue releasing every Monday and Friday.
What you've seen so far is only the beginning of Illyana’s journey. Many of the questions hinted at in these early chapters will begin unfolding soon as the world beyond the farm, the city, and the sea slowly reveals itself.
