I started chapter twenty two, or twenty one, I can’t remember which chapter I’m on, but on my way now to go get unnecessary work done so I’ll finish it once that’s done! Should be out later tonight if I don’t regret my decision in going through with this and have a mental breakdown !

I know most of my readers are probably American but like… I really have to TRY with them. 
          
          I’ve never met a genuinely nice American who’s life didn’t revolve around politics and thinking they’re the best country in the world, like babe you’re not far off being third world…
          
          Of course people need to stand for what they believe in, speak for those who have no voice, but I think the majority of them forget they have no authority, they have no control.
          
          You can’t put your beliefs and views on to everyone else, especially as most things are just opinion instead of fact. 
          
          It just IRKS me how they think they’re can change the world with one little comment, or post. 
          
          Not to be pessimistic, but if you can’t control it why try change it. You’re only going to cause yourself more stress, annoy more people, and just make yourself out to be DUMB!
          
          Sorry, this comes from a comment I made on TikTok which made perfect sense and didn’t discriminate anyone btw!
          
          It was literally me saying I have to do research for this story as I’m not American. 
          
          E.g, the group live in California, when choosing where Luca left too I had to search up states that are next to California. I have to switch out certain words, like ‘fries’, we call them ‘chips’ in my country, but if I say ‘chips’ they think of a bag of what I call ‘crisps’. Also! American football! Hello!? Your ‘soccer’ is our ‘football’ (which makes no sense btw your not kicking the ball, you’re using your hands rather than feet but whatever), and I have to research this crazy football game I know nothing about just for this story! 
          
          Like it made perfect sense and they come up in here getting DEFENSIVE? NOOOO! SHUT UP!

Real life men freak me out. 

I’m in the middle of writing chapter 15 and not even joking this is my favourite chapter yet! 
          
          After chapter 3 being my ‘favourite’, I didn’t think I’d get another ‘favourite’, until I wrote chapter 5, then 7, and now 15. 
          
          I’ll definitely have a new favourite chapter, but this one… well you’ll see. 
          
          I feel I might love chapter 18 and 20 just as much (oh what I have planned) but we’ll figure it out as we go. 
          
          This chapter is the perfect (in my eyes, each to their own) balance of: humour, angst, plot twist and (I can’t find the right word, but let’s just say… downfall)
          
          It should be done within the next hour or two! So keep an eye out!
          
          Also, it’s gonna be a long one, so prepare!

Updated version of chapter 14 is out! Sorry for depriving you of content, I get lazy sometimes!
          
          I also had a nap right after posting the original version of chapter 14, and I had a nightmare. Third one in three weeks so I’m getting rather paranoid now! 
          
          Anyway, that nightmare made me feel immense guilt, and I was dwelling on it for hours, so that’s probably another reason I took so long to fix this chapter. 
          
          Hope it’s okay enough for you anyway! (I had to google and read boring football terms, techniques, rules AND more, just for this!)

After waking up from my well deserved nap. (I woke up to a package—more perfume because I’m addicted— went to two college classes, came home, then half assed chapter 14) I’m going to add on to chapter 14, cause 1k words? Why am I depriving you all?

I’m going to continue to keep writing on this board like it’s some sort of Twitter— sorry I mean X— page. 
          
          I’m actually banned from there, I don’t know why, but I’m DEVICE banned. 
          
          I had it for all of two days, it was taking up storage, and when I went to download it again it wouldn’t let me log in or create an account. But it’s over rated anyway, Reddit for the win!
          
          Anyway, I’ll try get chapter 14 and PERHAPS chapter 15 out later. 
          
          I spent the majority of my time yesterday in colleges, doing assignments and doing—unfortunately— planning for this book. 
          
          Chapter outlines, character arcs, you know.. the boring stuff. 
          
          But I’m so excited for the next six chapters!!! 
          
          I think you will be too!
          
          Also, if you’re still reading, thank you so much for 500 reads, I had the first like 3 chapters of this posted a few months ago then took it down, it had a total of like 11 reads, but now after republishing and actually sticking to it within the last week or two, I’m really happy with how far I’ve came. 
          
          Remember to celebrate the little things, because the big ones won’t happen without them!
