My name is Hollynn.
Yes, Hollynn. H-O-L-L-Y-N-N. Not Hollylynn, not Hoylen, and please, if you could restrain yourself from calling me a country, I would appreciate that. I am fully aware that I have a weird name, and when you have a name like mine you eventually get used to having your name mispronounced and misspelled. I would rather have friends that can't spell my name than enemies that can.
Normally this is the place where people bash the way that they look, or set themselves out as the super-peppy, dark-emo, or sarcastic-indie type, but I don't really know what I would classify myself as. I'm just... me. So if you like that, I like that too, and I think we could probably end up getting along.
When I write, I like to keep around the genres of dystopia, paranormal, and adventure. For some reason those subjects just call to me, but sometimes I will randomly branch out into different kinds of writing. I have to admit to you, I am a last page reader. Before you go strutting off with your nose in the air, or snap your fingers in a z-formation and completely hate me, I have been trying to get out of the habit. It just makes me feel like a reading badass.
I am an irony-loving English nerd, working five seven hour days a week at a place called high school, and between sitting in a classroom and doing homework I ride horses. I mostly ride English hunter-jumper, but I like riding western every once in a while because it's pretty relaxing. I currently ride a 17hh Thoroughbred named Parker, and I am pretty sure he counts as my boyfriend.
When I'm not doing homework, sleeping, riding horses, reading, or writing, I mostly sit in my room and jam out to bands like Bastille, Imagine Dragons, Kings of Leon, The 1975, Greek Fire, Phoenix, etc.
And a few parting words before I reach the typing limit:
I have a wolf obsession.
Spell little with two t's and an e, no matter what demonic presence possesses you.
Comic Sans and Wikipedia are the devil.

If you haven't read "Lakeview Manor" by TekkenFan, you really should. He is a talented writer, and I am glad to be working with him on his story. It only gets better from here!HollynnView all Conversations
