When will you update?

Hello All, At first I thought I will be publishing one shot but this story was getting too stretched, then I decided to prolong it.
          But I am unable to give it much time.
          I have some ideas on how to create this story for around 15-20 chapter buy as it is taking so much time. 
          I can leave that idea behind and complete this story in more than one or two chapters.
          
          I want to ask the readers, what they want whether this story with an old idea and around 20 chapters 
          
          Or
          
          Story with max 10 chapters????
          
          
          I am unable to decide.
          
          Help me.
