Young fanfic writers baffle me. They'll get angry if  adults age up characters to fit the plot and will come at you like they're the devil spawn or something but the young ones don't see us adults coming at them for aging down Levi Ackerman to 16 years old or any other adult character. I mean, I avoid the age up/age down drama and stick with adult characters but still. Let everyone write a fanfic how they want...

You want to know something that kinda bugs me how everyone is so against Kai Parker from The Vampire Diaries because he killed his family? 
          
          Isn't that a little hypocritical? Didn't Damon and Stefan do the same?
          
          Stefan killed his father and Damon killed "Uncle" Zack and his pregnant wife. 
          
          They killed their family members, too. 
          
          Don't get me wrong I still really like Stefan, but just because they felt sympathy for what they did doesn't make them any different than Kai because they still killed family.

@Niklaus21 Exactly they're no different. I mean, they have support and love where Kai had never had that and has admitted to multiple occasions on trying to kill himself in the prison world because he also hated being alone and you gotta think wouldn't our own minds become sociopahtic if our own family put us in a world we couldn't die in? If his fsmily would have just accepted as a siphoner witch than his siblings would never of gotten killed because Kai felt betrayed by his family and as he said "when your family sees you as nothing more than an abomination, might as well prove them right, right?" Imagine if his family never rejected him and actually let him become the leader. He never would have killed his siblings if they just accepted him.
