Mackenzie Wallace has three things on her mind during freshman year- getting an 'A' in math so her parents will take her to the Caribbean; selling her 9 year old brother Finn; and, most importantly, getting herself a boyfriend. She has her eye set on Quinn Jackson, the hottest and most popular boy in her grade. And, if she can think up the perfect elaborate plan, he will be hers by summer. That is, if her friends Tiffany and Eddie HELP her for once. But they have their own ideas for the year, and Mackenzie's arch nemesis is out to get her.
All Quinn Jackson wants to accomplish in his freshman year is pass his classes, make JV lacrosse, and maintain his popularity- which means staying as far in the closet as he possibly can. No matter how adorable Eddie Raymond is, this town of his isn't quite ready for that. Nor is his family. If ONLY Mackenzie and her little friends would leave him alone!
With mayhem, mischief, and Mackenzie let loose, this little Iowa town won't know what hit it. After all.... She IS in high school now...
