          Thanks for your recent votes on #ShadowOfThePastTrilogy ∞ The Displaced; I'm glad you enjoyed my story. I'd love to hear what you think of it; the strong point as well as what could do with improvement. I'm currently stuck on writing the next chapter and am contemplating whether I've overextended in terms of where the story is at right now, when I'm supposed to be nearing the end. (I'm more of a pantser than a plotter.) I'd love to hear your thoughts.
          
          BTW, I'm curious: who is your favorite character, and why?

@MelHoff2 Thank you for your thoughts! I find it soo interesting to see my story through another's eyes. The DAM reference was supposed to indicate the reverse: not the WHY Danny was chosen, but more like due some undefined soul connection he was named with the initials DAM because he was meant to find Mickmi in the possible future. But perhaps that is coming across as a bit corny? Of course, Selina never elaborated on the why...  
            And hmm, no chemistry? Not between Danny and Mickmi? I'm a bit surprised.  Where did I miss out on that? I'd love to know. You could reply via DM if you like.

@kemorgan65 I can tell you Danny is my least favorite. Can't imagine what Selina saw in him. Please don't say his initials are DAM and so she sent him to the dam to find Mic. Selena would have to be a fool to use that reasoning. Nothing about Danny makes sense for a love interest for Mic. He's immature, untrained, with a constant "woe is me" attitude that is diametrically opposed to the strong, dominant personalities of the main characters.
            Jagg is correct that the 2 young men are out of their league with Lora and Mickmi. Can't imagine either of them continuing as love interests. There is no chemistry. Rather glad they can't marry. 
            Perhaps it is a good place to break the story and begin the sequel with the otherworlders seeking a more appropriate romantic relationship with one of their own time and rank. No way Danny could ever be the shield for real. Selina said as much. BTW Selena is my favorite character.

@SimonKJones You have written such imaginative and intricate tales, and it is always amazing to see the breadth of your work. Day of Faces is still my favorite, but the diversity of your plots and intricate threads always tied up neatly at the end leaves me hungry for more. Please keep wring Triverse stories. You don't just build worlds, you build universes!
