I enjoy writing poetry because it gives me a sense of my own personal feelings on paper. I can keep a easier flow in my writing and say a million and one different things, no matter of how anyone else feel or thinks at that moment, because this is mine. My feelings, my thoughts, my dreams, hopes, or inspiration. It doesn't matter the occasion. Because it's only me. My personal self and nonstop emotions flowing onto a simple piece of paper with a pen or pencil in my right hand.
My family is my inspiration. Through life's journeys of triumphs, and failures, sadness and happiness, anguish and fears, struggling through bad times and enjoying amazing times. Life's journeys and my family are my true inspiration.
My father was my encouragement. Losing him turned me to a very dark space in my heart. My poetry has helped me to overcome even the darkest thoughts that could have been possessing my inner being at the time of his death. My world rumbled, tumbled, crumbled, and broke, spiraling completely out of control and touch with reality itself. My poetry helped me to cope with losing him because he was my whole world indeed.
