I have always had a love of science fiction and fantasy, and of reading and writing, ever since I was a child. I wrote my first short story at the age of 11 and have been writing ever since.

A ten year old boy stumbles into a cemetery crypt to waken an ancient magic on Halloween night. The small town must defend themselves from the undead horrors brought upon them by a dark mage from another plane of existence. Then they learn a terrible secret--the boy is not of this world! If the necromancer captures him, then the results will be catastrophic for both their worlds.

"The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" have long been my favorite books, along with the books of C.J. Cherryh, Orson Scott Card, Patricia McKillip, Ursula K. LeGuin, and C. S. Lewis.



I love to travel and have been to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Ancient buildings fascinate me. On that trip, we saw about 30 castles. I have also traveled extensively over the United States, visiting all 49 states and 22 national parks. 



In 2018, we took a trip to Europe for 8 months and visited 41 countries, including Israel, Egypt, South Africa, and Turkey!
