I've always thought that if the zombie apocalypse were to ever actually happen, we would end it almost instantly in its tracks. We have so many movies and so many video games on zombies that we'd know instantly what to do and we'd stop the spread before it even happened. But then I got thinking. The virus would still be out there. It would just infect a couple people now and then and we'd be fine, but that's giving people an excuse to kill fellow humans. What if they didn't want to stop? What if they moved on from zombies to something a little more... alive. What if they went insane, killing every walking thing they saw? And thus came the idea of "Give Us The Dead"! Wait and see what happens!

So the short story I just posted was an earlier story I wrote about a year ago. I plan on rewriting it, smoothing out the edges, and posting it in the future. There's also a followup story I wrote, Piano Pianissimo, that I want to post later on. It explains more about Forte, but for now, I'm just gonna go ahead and let you suffer over what the hell is actually happening. Ha!
