@IDontKnow4265 Thank you so much for sharing your option and for taking the time to read my story and I’m really glad you’re enjoying the plot so far.
About Yuto’s curiosity and his insistence on digging into Kai’s past. Yuto’s motivations are layered rather than straightforward. While his actions might seem reckless or unnecessary, they come from a mix of factors:
- Yuto’s Background (Unrevealed So Far (but here is some information on it)): Yuto’s driven by a strong sense of justice and a heavy need to understand the world around him, especially when something or someone doesnt add up. This is about a compulsion to connect the dots, even if it puts him in harm’s way.
- Hero Complex: You’re absolutely right that Yuto’s actions can come across as a “hero complex.” (The right to do it.) While he doesn;t think of himself that way, there is a part of him that feels the need to uncover secrets and involve himself in situations where others wouldnt. This flaw is intentional.
- Kai: Yuto’s persistent questioning and Kai’s secretive nature are meant to create tension and contrast between the two characters. Kai is focused on survival and protection, while Yuto’s approach is almost the opposite he pushes boundaries and seeks answers, even at his own risk.
- Potential Consequences: Yuto doesn’t fully understand the danger he’s stepping into yet. While the mercenaries may not target him directly for now, his involvement could lead to unintended consequences down the line. His actions are a mix of naivete and stubbornness, which he'll eventually have to confront.
