@Skier3star You can't separate words out from each other. Wattpad doesn't allow that natively. you type in tall as a keyword in the search, you will phrases/words that contain tall in them (like stall) and you cannot separate them out so that tall can be its own keyword without being contained in another keyword. (like Tall Tree, where there is a space between tall and tree, and it is not something like Stalled). It's ridiculous.

@Mightyenaboy975 I know of at least a few instances where something like this has happened to authors on Wattpad. It happened to Wolf4Dead14’s prior account because a salty ass hater reported his story/account and his account got deleted because of it. He couldn’t even recover any drafts or unpublished stories, nothing. He’s had to start from scratch on a good bit of his stories. And I am seeing more and more accounts/ either get deleted, removed, unpublished, or chapters wiped more and more now. And if it’s a tag with a large amount of stories, you won’t know which story with that tag was removed. The shadowbanning is also horrendous because the tag system that ranks the stories enables it to happen and the AI moderation doesn’t help. I’ve looked at the number of stories with the KDA tag Looking at the ranking, there’s at least 970 stories with it. But in the search bar, less than 920 are even visible. The AI has likely flagged for whatever reason (likely falsely as well due to the AI’s lack of understanding nuance) those more than 50 stories and it makes them not publicly searchable or discoverable. that’s in English only, and there’s also likely stories that never had the tag on it in the first place. There’s no way to do an “and/or” search, as in K/DA is in the title or tag or both. I don’t think any platform has a feature like that to my knowledge.

@Skier3star yeah I have bullet points saved on my actual PC guess I should actually start working from my PC instead of my phone lol

@Mightyenaboy975 I also recommend AO3 as well. There are more tags, it’s easier to find stories because you can sort by characters, fandoms, etc. I think pictures also work. And very rarely do any stories get removed by mods (unless it’s really, really, really over the line, I think, or something that goes against legality, like doxxing or something like that). And AO3 even allows downloading stories onto your computer for official platform reading, they even have a dedicated EPUB button to allow you to do so. Wattpad’s gotten really bad with their moderating. I think it’s completely AI now, and AI lacks the ability to understand nuance. Personally, if I eventually start writing stories on Wattpad, I am putting mine on both platforms to be safe. I think it’s a good backup and I don’t know why authors, especially with how Wattpad is now, don’t publish in both.
