Today, I wanted to ask you something very honestly.
Are you genuinely enjoying Love Bloomed in the Staffroom?
I know the trope of my story is quite different. It's a professor × professor romance, and honestly, I haven't come across many stories—whether on Wattpad or even in published books that follow this trope. Most popular romance stories are about mafia heroes, arranged marriages, billionaires, enemies to lovers, and many other well loved tropes. I enjoy those stories too If you check my reading list, you'll find plenty of mafia and arranged marriage stories because I'm a huge fan of them.
But when I started writing, I wanted to try something different. I wanted to write a story that felt unique to me, and that's why I chose this trope.
Lately, though, I've been wondering if this story is something readers actually enjoy. Maybe it's a little difficult to connect with because it isn't a common trope. I honestly don't know.
On top of that, life has become very hectic. I still have so many ideas for this story—and even for several new stories—but I barely have enough time to sit down and write. It's becoming harder and harder to update regularly.
Should I continue writing this story?
Should I take a break until life becomes less hectic?
Or... should I stop writing it altogether?
I don't want to make that decision on you reply I want to hear from you.
Please give me your most honest review. Don't worry about hurting my feelings. If you loved the story, tell me why. If you didn't enjoy it, tell me why. If you think the trope doesn't work, tell me that too. If there's something I can improve, I'd genuinely love to know.
I promise I'll read every comment with an open mind. Whether it's love, criticism, or suggestions, I'm ready to accept it all.
Your feedback will help me decide what to do next—whether I should continue this journey, take a break, or perhaps write a different trope in the future.
