As I continue to rewrite, I’ve realized how much I hate the storyline I wrote involving a side character (Eloise). So over the next, jeez probably a month or so, I’m gonna slowly edit her parts out of the book and possibly replace them with other more fluffy things.
So yeah…just wanted to announce that I guess? Hopefully you guys don’t mind.

Working on a new project is hard. Especially when I told myself I wouldn’t publish it until I’ve written at least five chapters to begin with–And although I’m not done with the third, the publish button is right there tempting me…

Question: How long should one chapter be? How many words is TOO long?
Asking for a friend, to any avid readers out there. I can’t decide on a word count for a chapter I’m currently working on, and so far I’m only three quarters of the way through and I already have over a thousand words.
@MiniMe_fandoms i think long chapters are sooo good, esp if its a good book, tho it generally depends on the plotline. Personally i think chapters shouldn't be over 4000 words, gets too long (doesn't mean i won't read it lmao)
tbh i think the longer the chapters the more i wanna read the book! especially if i genuinely love the book because i never want it to end!
