Michelle Engel, aka Mizzieshizznell, has had her visual or written creative work featured in Button Eye Review, Glassworks Magazine, The Bangalore Review, LUPERCALIA PRESS's digital anthologies, SATURNALIA '21 and VENERALIA 22, Fifth Wheel Press's digital anthology, THE TRUTH IS IN THE STARS (and their annual print compendium), and the 4th edition of Beyond Queer Words. Additional poetry is forthcoming in SageWoman Magazine.

 Two local art galleries in her home city have also included her art in themed gallery shows. 

Fueled by glitter, and the lingering remains of teenage angst, she explores themes of folklore, mythology, the paranormal, sexuality, spirituality, and more, in her creative work.
