hiya!! please bear with me while i rearrange all of my the deep books. i'm in the process of formatting them

THE DEEP IS GOING OFF OF NETFLIX
          
          The last day to watch The Deep (at least in the US) is September 21st. But STAY STRONG The Deep community!! I don't know where I'm gonna watch it, but I'll still keep making fanfics about it!!

          Fontaine looked at the forever blue blood that coursed through her wrist. Generations of magic now flowed through them, and she touched her veins gently.
          
          "It kind of hurts," she said as her fingers left light imprints on her wrist. They went away after a few seconds, but she stared at where they had been in awe.
          
          "It'll get worse over the next couple of days," said Kathryn, "but it shouldn't be too bad. It's just how your body handles the magic. It happened to your dad and your grandpa too."
          
          "Whoa," Fontaine whispered. She looked at her other wrist and the mark on the palm of her hand, her family crest.

God bless my wonderful great-grandma who passed away this afternoon. 
          
          She was funny, sweet, and so kind, and I'm very grateful to have known her for so long. Most people don't even get to know their great-grandparents. 
          
          This day has felt way too long, and it's been dragging on forever. Grandma, don't worry, I'll see you again one day, and we'll be the happiest we've ever been. You made it to age ninety! Wow! Now I can know that you're up in Heaven with God and the angels and saints, spending time with your mother and your cousin. 
          
          I love you, Grandma. May you rest in peace, and God bless.

The Deep thought of the day: the Nekton family are definitely dog people. Fontaine mentioned wanting a dog in the S1 episode “A.I.M.Y.” so I choose to believe that she had constantly bagged her parents for a puppy when she was little. 
          
          She went to the full extents. She made slideshows about why she should get a dog and how she should take care of it, she mapped out places on the Aronnax where the dog would live, and she constantly looked up the easiest dog breeds to take care of since her family was always so busy.
          
          Will and Kaiko had to shut her down on multiple occasions because having a dog on a submarine where they had dangerous adventures at least once a month would probably lead to some bad stuff happening. Ant also wanted a dog, but Jeffery quickly replaced any dog Ant could have.
