I was thinking about funerals for Among Us Logic characters (as one does) and I had the idea for a gravestone for Bro that has his real/human name but, how some graves will have who the person was, his says ‘boyfriend, son, friend, bro’ or something similar

Also since how Bro dies in the original is kept vague, I’ll put a description of what I was thinking for it when I wrote mine in the comments of the story which you can read before or after, but it might make a bit more sense if you read it before

@thegaycandlestick-2 yesss ofc, ig the only way to do it is posting it again, there are 3 parts that are ~500 pages each and I wasn’t going to post one I’m less certain about but i probably will. Do you mind if I credit your fic at the bottom? Just because I don’t want people to think they have to read your story first, and not read it all because of that, hopefully that makes sense and doesn’t come out wrong

I updated all of ‘The Most Specialist Crew’!! You don’t have to reread it because most of the changes are small but here are the more major things:
-I made it so the characters (who aren’t dating) sleep in separate beds LMAO because for some reason that genuinely didn’t occur to me the first time I was writing it. And also I think it’s more satisfying for when the eventual couples get together
-Also I made it so Bro asked Ninja to be his roommate instead of the other way around, not to worry because Bro still assures everyone 5 million times that it’s heterosexual
-I made Gnome nicer, because I realized I wanted to show that she had a meaner side but forgot to show her ever being nice lmao (outside of her interactions with Engineer)
-I made the scene between Bro and Ninja in chapter 5 less flirtatious so I could take things slower
-BUT I did add a bit of an Easter egg in that part
In general I’m happy about the changes even if it’s technically cheating. Oh well.

@MoonsandHeavens But is Bro sharing a room with a guy heterosexual I mean it’s totally straight right are we all clear on that maybe we should reiterate this louder to make sure everyone heard that it’s heterosexual (I probably shouldn’t have read this cause spoilers but it didn’t really have any and HA NOW I KNOW TO EXPECT BRONJA IN CHAP 5) (also dw there is no cheating when it comes to fanfiction you can do whatever you want forever)

Thinking of a Engiegnome time loop fic where Gnome dies and Engineer gets obsessed with reliving that day over and over again to prevent it with a machine/something sciencey he does, practically writes itself

I promise im still updating ‘The Most Specialist Crew In The World’ the problem is I’m conflicted because I want to change a few things but I don’t know how to go about it… I don’t want to have to create a whole other story because of all the wonderful comments and engagement I’ve gotten, and I don’t want people to have to find it again it, but also editing it sounds unfair to people who’ve already read it. I don’t want to just leave it as is if I’m unsure of it because I want to be proud of it. Does anyone have any ideas or advice
my best guess is editing it but putting a disclaimer, it’s just unfortunate and I don’t know how much I would change
Or maybe I’m just second guessing my writing for no reason lol

@thegaycandlestick-2 I probably will just edit it and add a disclaimer, it’s not an extreme amount but enough to mention. You probably won’t need to reread the first chapter though. And Oop -

@MoonsandHeavens I’d say if it’s important changes like plot lines or subplots go ahead and edit it, I don’t think people will mind rereading it, but if it’s just small edits I’d leave it as it is (if it’s just a small edit that’s plot relevant I have been guilty of quietly editing a line into a chapter and not telling anyone lol, it’s your story so do whatever suits you best)

I think part of what makes Gentlecheese work is that both of them like attention/power but they get it in radically different ways and so they don’t overshadow the other. That’s part of why Mr Cheese doesn’t date someone more like himself, because it would take attention away from his personality and character. He wouldn’t want another Mr Cheese like-person taking attention from him. And vice versa with Gentleman.
Now of course they also genuinely love each other but think that’s why they work. They’re fine with sharing the spotlight with each other because they’re so different in what that spotlight looks like.

@MoonsandHeavens oooo yes definitely especially with Mr Cheese leaning into different aspects of himself in different episodes like the cool douchebag thing, the ruthless killer, the innocent crewmate, they contain multitudes I love them

@thegaycandlestick-2 that’s a good way of putting it… I was talking more visually/surface-level, like no matter what their underlying motivations were, however those two things do reflect on each other anyway. I think they both somewhat want to be admired and feared, though, but overall I agree, like Gentleman wants respect and power and Mr Cheese wants status in general. And going even deeper in motivation I think they both feel the need to control how others see them due to insecurity/fear of judgement

I have decided the “In Case I Make It” album by Will Wood is Mr Cheese’s album. Literally it’s all perfect for him.. especially ‘The Main Character’ as his more confident/villianous side and ‘Against The Kitchen Floor’ for his more depressing side. LITERALLY the album art is the moon as made of cheese. The Normal Album by Will Wood also Mr Cheese-coded tbh
