For some it might seem like they're taking the whole "wolf pack" thing seriously, but. Howling a battlecry is just a inside-joke type of thing. Though, it did get some of the troopers more excited about the mission, were they serving under Plo koon and commander wolffe or not; the howling was still targeted at Laika, who didn't mind it, no. But the others did go a bit overboard with it sometimes.
He would have joined them into the roaring, but he was way too close to the enemies. He had himself down low, trying to get himself into a great but hidden position. And when he had settled down onto the ground, he leaned onto his elbows and brought his sniper rifle forward; taking the now panicking battle droids down one by one.
"Too easy.." he did mumble to himself as he switched to his binoculars, checking if he missed any. There was a pause before he started getting up, cracking a small laugh even. He was just about to bring his wrist up and report to the rest of the batallion when he felt sharp pain strike by him, making him fall back to the ground with it. As he held his arm, he hissed through his gritted teeth. "Kriffin' he--" though he soon was interrupted by a sound of blaster going off and that usual scream a droid made when it got destroyed. Then a medic stepping over to him, offering a hand to help him up. "Can you stop droppin' dead whenever you get a small scratch?" the other's voice sounded bothered but Laika only grinned at this, taking a look at his own arm; a flesh wound, not too deep. But it still had an unpleasant sting to it.
He grabbed onto the medic's hand and got pulled back to his feet.
"Come on, it hurt like hell." Both of them paused to listen to the sounds of the other troopers howling again, pause and then a loud burst of laughing. Laika just let out a sigh, amused. "They really like me, huh?"
The medic just nodded, obviously not in the mood to play around. "It's supposed to be a squad, not just you roaming around alone."
