@Peonytealeaf07 I've been fiddling with some other story concepts and actually have a few chapters written for a couple of them. As a way to help keep my mind fresh and not get burnt out on CoNR. Since you're my most avid reader, and because I'm indecisive, I thought I'd see what you might be most interested in reading. These wouldn't be as regularly updated as CoNR until that story finishes.

Three basic concepts I have can be surmised as follows.

-a modern reimagining of Aladdin in an urban fantasy setting with subtle deeply symbolic hidden magic. where the genie is the romantic interest,
          	    - explores themes of power dynamics and consent when one party literally doesn't have the ability to say no.

-a more traditional swords and sorcery setting with both a hard and soft magic system, where magic can literally change who you are as a person. Focused on a 'Duke' being married to a member of a different fantasy race as part of a political alliance meant to keep the peace, but is part of a people that doesn't have a gender binary, either physically or culturally. All the while a growing danger lurks in the shadows of the mountains
          	   - explores themes of traditional gender roles and dynamics, gender identity, what it means to be human, and the cost of forging yourself into a weapon during a peace time that might not ever end.

          	 - a science fiction story where a mildly arachnophobic deep space planetary explorer is stranded on an alien planet that will take years to be rescued from must build a life there with an artificial intelligence, and a hive mind of giant spider like aliens that find him intensely curious and strangely endearing.
-explores themes of isolation, sacrifice, hope, and fundamental humanity. And possible spider smooching. (Pg-13 spider smooching to be clear.)

@MysterySnails ok well now I have 401 questions now that I've heard about the secret passion project ️️ You don't have to reveal anything until you are ready, but I will admit I am very curious.

I can relate to the problem of too many ideas and not enough time. I have about 3 different stories in the drafts just waiting to come to life myself.

I have no doubt that these stories will all be amazing after seeing what you have already produced. I can't wait to see what you post next!

@Peonytealeaf07 one is a wild west fantasy story set on a world of floating continents with magical moons and is like Django unchained meets portal fantasy/isekai with very light lit RPG elements.

The other is a classic isekai reincarnated bit in a high/dark fantasy setting but in the middle of nowhere, and the protagonist is charged with building a kingdom but his only starting ability is to be able to perfectly recall and experience in depth any YouTube video he's ever seen. It's like first time homesteading fantasy meets kingdom building. I have some very cool ideas for different fantasy races.

Howdy yall sorry for the delay in posting. We had a couple tornadoes out here in corn country. Everything is fine but the internet was knocked out for a bit. The backlog is slowly building and hopefully I'll be able to have multiple chapters drafted and scheduled for release by the end of the month so this doesn't happen again! Enjoy the chapter!

Peonytealeaf07

I just came across your story and it is SO GOOD!!! I am so invested in all the characters and I just absolutely devoured all the current parts. I absolutely cannot wait until the next parts release. I have shared it in a DCC group that I am in!

Please keep writing this! I could see myself buying a copy if it ever goes to publish!

Peonytealeaf07

Yay! I know how it feels to feel like you are talking into the void, but seriously your work is so freaking good. I will definitely be sharing this around when I see people asking for DCC fan fic recommendations! Until then you have a loyal reader in me
