I have been writing since I turned 11. I find great solace in creation-I find I can discover innovative solutions to actual problems by working through them in fiction. I also enjoy reading quite a bit, and I try to let every work I read influence me a little bit, either in advising me what to do, or, in some cases, what not to do.
