Hello All!

Thank you for stopping by my profile. Let's see, a little bit about me: Well, I've been writing since I was about 12 years old. I don't know why, but I particularly love writing in the young adult genre. I guess I just like stories that take me back to that special time in life, when everything is new and exciting and you have your whole future ahead of you.

Although I have never published a real novel, I have actually published many scientific research articles and book chapters. That's because I'm actually a scientist by training. I have a PhD in Interdisciplinary Biology and have conducted laboratory research (for a few decades) in the fields of oncology, stem cells, and neuroscience. You may observe that some aspects of that part of my life come out in my writing.

Currently, I am a senior scientific editor at a major research institution and am a board-certified editor of the life sciences (ELS), which means that my job is the perfect marriage of my two loves, biomedical research and writing. I guess you could say that it's a match made in heaven!

Anyway, enough about me. Please read my book and let me know what you think. I love receiving feedback about the things you like or don't like in my stories. Happy reading!

Best,
