I've been writing since I was a little Catholic kid, when I thought I'd try my hand at rewriting the bible. Turns I was not divinely inspired after all. I've long since given up Catholicism. 

Recovered investigative journalist, saved by self-directed anger therapy. And dancing. 

Sometimes I think... was the title of my first blog that never came to be. Because sometimes I do think... first this, and then that, and then this other thing. 

I love ideas and imagination. I love analytical thinking and then throwing that out the window in favour of empathy/compassion and flights of fancy. 

Every story is an adventure and experiment.  

My writing tends to explore things like why the world is the way it is, and how it might be different. Why people do and say the things they do. I often explore themes like human relationships, gender and sexuality, power dynamics in the world around me. I have a soft spot for philosophical sci-fi (hey -- phi-sci-fi!), but not exclusively.

My husky, Nacho, is one of my role models. So kind and content and patient and tolerant; but also goofy and fun and adventurous.
