Growing up in the Midwest, I moved to Houston, Texas, where I lived for 30 years. Recently my husband and I relocated to the glorious and inspiring Olympic Peninsula, where I gawk at the views and try to concentrate enough to write. When I'm not writing I enjoy gardening, travel, hiking, and yoga. My husband has boy/girl twins, now aged 24, whom I love as my own.

My debut novel, The Foreign Language of Friends, was recently named a finalist in the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, Chick Lit category.

Other completed projects include:

Editor, Patchwork & Ornament: A Woman's Journey of Life, Love, and Art by Jeanette Feldman (2010 Indie Excellence Award, Best Memoir; 2009 Finalist, Writers' League of Texas manuscript contest)
Author, When a Grandchild Dies: What to Do, What to Say, How to Cope
Editor, Joy-Full Holistic Remedies by Georgie Holbrook
