Hi!
Welcome to my page on Wattpad. I hope you've found my story/stories to your liking and that's why you're looking into who I am, and what I do. 
My name, as the profile name already suggests, is Sigurd Christiansen. I love to read, mostly fantasy, historical fiction and horror, but where I get recommendations, I usually give different genres and authors a valid shot. 
Some of my favorite authors, just to name a few, are: Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie, George R R Martin, Steven Erikson, Robert Jordan, Stephen King, Wilbur Smith, and Glen Cook.
They've all respectively influenced me in my work. Some have influenced me through their worldbuilding, like Glen Cook, Stephen Ericson or Robert Jordan. Others by their dialogue, pacing and character building, like Brandon Sanderson or Joe Abercrombie. And others in the way they"play" with words, plots, or ideas, like Stephen King, Geroge R R Martin, or Wilbur Smith. 
Brandon Sanderson said, in one of his online lectures, "You have to write around ten years in order to find your own style and become a great writer." (Roughly transcribed from memory)
Sad to say I haven't been writing for ten years, yet, but I consider myself to be a patient, stubborn and at times foolhardy guy, so I'm in this for the long run. 
Even though I haven't written ten years, yet, I've been actively writing since December 2021 and I've been actively worldbuilding, character and plot drafting, since June 2017. 
I've finished a book, separated into part one and two, set in the same universe as the stories I aim to publish here. I'm sad to say it's written in Norwegian and not in English, but I aim to translate it soon. 
My goal here on Wattpad is to practice my short story writing. These short stories will focus on characters set in the same universe as my main story, pull their individual weights on their own, and mutually complement each other in a wider sense. 
I'd love to get feedback, both positive and negative, so keep em coming.
