I am the author of 36 books. many concerned with genetic engineering.  My fiction has won five Nebulas, two Hugos, a Sturgeon, and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award.  I live in Seattle with my husband, writer Jack Skillingstead, and Cosette, the world's most spoiled toy poodle.
