I'm Thomas, I'm currently a physics undergraduate but have always wanted to publish some written work.  I love most genres, from metaphysical treatises to teen romance, because there's a place for everything.  When I'm not doing schoolwork (and sometimes when I'm supposed to be doing schoolwork), I like to sit down and work on my urban fantasy story.  I do not foresee being able to finish it in the near future, but my friend told me that writing is like jogging;  you have to start somewhere and work your way up.
